XH410G

Flat 3-litre PC for PCIe x16 cards supports Intel Core processors of the 10th generation

Elmshorn, Germany, 2020-11-05 – as the second model of this type and also Shuttle's first XPC product for Intel Core processors of the 10th generation, the XH410G follows in the footsteps of the renowned XH110G, which has been a huge success since when it first launched in 2017. The XH410G now continues this tradition and once again stands for flexibility, connectivity and performance per cm³.

- Space for all kinds of single-slot cards
- Up to 64 GB of RAM, two drives and Core processors of the Intel "Comet Lake-S” series

One of the XH410G’s key features is clearly the full-size PCI Express x16 3.0 slot that lets you choose from a host of single-slot expansion cards to be fitted in the 8 cm flat case. The necessary computing power is provided by Intel Core processors of the 10th generation for socket LGA1200 while using latest storage and drive technology.

The XH410G model from the XPC category “slim” is a compact Barebone in a 25 x 20 x 7.85 cm (DWH) format. Its mainboard with Intel’s H410 chipset accommodates up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM memory in SO-DIMM format and supports processors with up to 65 W of TDP. Two M.2 slots, one being M.2-2280 and one M.2-2230, can be fitted with an NVMe SSD and a WLAN module, for example.

The clou, however, remains the PCI Express x16 3.0 slot. This is suitable for graphics cards or expansion cards with an x1 to x16 connector (e.g. for 10 Gbit network, Thunderbolt, sound/video capture card, TV tuner, PCIe SSD and many more) in a single-slot format.

The chassis has ventilation openings in the chassis cover and also has space for one 2.5-inch hard disk/SSD on the bottom which can be accessed through a separate hatch. Directly next to said drive there is a conventional USB port (A type) which can be used for example for dongles, theft-proof USB drives or add-ons such as wireless modules.

The front and rear of the XH410G offer a wealth of ports which include audio, HDMI 2.0a, VGA, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbit), USB 2.0 and Intel Gigabit Ethernet. A new addition is the remote power-on connection which makes it possible to start the computer remotely when set up in hard-to-reach places.

"Whether in the office, complex network applications or multi-display scenarios – there is almost no limit on what the XH410G can do, thanks to the PCIe slot,” explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH.

To ensure that sufficient power is supplied even in maximum configuration, the XH410G is operated by a 180 Watt, but fanless, external power supply unit. The cooling is guaranteed by an active heatpipe cooling system with two smooth-running 6 cm fans. The cooling technology works both laying flat and standing upright. For mounting on walls and surfaces, a VESA mount is already included with the device. A stand to further reduce the footprint is available separately.

In summary, the following optional accessories are available: WLAN kit (WLN-M), COM port adapter (H-RS232), stand (PS01) and the connecting cable (CXP01) for an external power button.

The recommended retail price from Shuttle for the XH410G is EUR 244.00 (ex VAT). This model is available from specialist retailers Europe-wide upon publication of this press release.
